First and foremost are the packaging features. Each 50 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bar is available individually in a tamper-evident security capsule with a Certificate of Authenticity to match the serial number. Bulk purchases of 30 bars are shipped in tubes with security labels and bulks purchases of 240 bars arrive in wooden boxes containing 8 tubes per box, and the box also features a security label.

On each bar youll find a pearl finish to the obverse design field, while the reverse has a textured, high-relief finish. All bars have a ribbed edge customarily found on bullion coins, and there is a printed unique serial number. Also, there is a UV-coating on the reverse that showcases the LEV rhombus and serial number when held under a black light.

The obverse of all 50 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bars features the image of the outer faade of Schloss Guldengossa. This Baroque-style castle was constructed in 1720 and became the first registered location of Geiger Edelmetalle in the modern era. The castle itself is now the corporate headquarters and is located outside of Leipzig, Germany.

On the reverse of all Geiger Square Silver Bars in the Original Series youll find a repeating image of the LEV rhombus. Set on a 45-degree angle, these figures repeat across the surface with a singular LEV rhombus visible in the center only under black light.

Geiger Edelmetalle opened in Leipzig in 1218, giving it 800 years of refining experience. Leipzig, and the greater southeastern Saxony region of Germany, has been home to silver merchants since the early 11th century.
