On the obverse side of the bar is the corporate name “Valcambi Suisse,” and the company’s famous square logo. Below that are engravings that include the weight, metal content, and purity of the bar. The assayer’s mark is included on this side, along with the individual serial number that allows you to verify the bar’s authenticity with Valcambi Suisse.
The reverse side of the bar bears no engravings of any kind. All engravings on the obverse side of the bar are featured with a stamped appearance, and are inset in the bar.
Valcambi Suisse has more than 50 years of experience in the precious metals industry. Located in Balerna, Switzerland, in the country’s southeastern regions, Valcambi was founded by a group of private investors with an interest in precious metal production. Today, the company is owned primarily by European Gold Refineries, though a small number of its original private investors still hold shares.
