The 2012 Canadian Cougar silver coin is the third issue in the Canadian Wildlife bullion coin series. Like the first two issues featuring a grizzly and depicting a wolf, the Cougar silver bullion coin is composed from .9999 fine silver.

Released in September 2011 but dated 2012, this design portrays the Canadian cougar with its front paws grasped on a fallen tree limb baring its large teeth. This reverse was designed by Senior Mint Engraver William Woodruff.
