2022 Royal Australian Mint Lunar Tiger 1 oz Silver Coin

We are excited to offer this 2022 1 oz Silver Lunar Year of the Tiger Coin .999 Fine BU. As the third installment of the Royal Australian Mint’s Lunar Series, this terrific tiger coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver - just like its predecessors. Each silver tiger arrives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition inside of a plastic capsule and is authorized legal tender by the Australian Government. Collectors must spring into action now, as only 50,000 (maximum) of these Silver Lunar Tiger Coins were produced.

Based on the lunar calendar, the Chinese Zodiac 12-year cycle honors a different animal and traits associated with that animal every year. The year 2022 marks the beginning of the Year of the Tiger. Those born during this year are influenced by the tiger’s traits and frequently demonstrate confidence, competitiveness, and courage. Although Tigers can be impulsive and stubborn at times, their friends and family appreciate them for their charming and loving side. Other years that fall under the Tiger’s sign are 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, and 2010. Swipe this savage silver coin for the untamable tiger in your life.

The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her effigy is surrounded by the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac.

The reverse showcases a stunning design of a prowling tiger exploring its habitat.
