Composed of .999 fine silver, the 2015 oz Silver Koala is part of the Perth Mint’s annual Australian Bullion Coin Program that will be released over the coming months.
The reverse features a koala bear perched on a tree branch. A rural scene is engraved in the background. AUSTRALIAN KOALA, OZ, 999 SILVER and 2015 are also inscribed.
Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the obverse. ELIZABETH II and AUSTRALIA are engraved, in addition to the coin’s face value.
