2019 Chinese Panda 30 gram 999 Gold Coin
The 2019 Chinese Gold Panda Coin is the 38th year the coins have been issued by the Chinese Mint and the fourth year in which the Metric weights have featured on the coins. In 2016, the Chinese Mint abandoned the use of Troy ounces in the markings on its coin to focus on Grams instead, a move it insisted was done to bring the coins in line with the nations use of the Metric system.
On the reverse of 2019 Chinese Gold Panda Coins is the design of a Giant Panda. The panda is a species of bear unique the mountainous regions in central China and is easily recognizable for its white-and-black fur, particularly the patches of black fur around its eyes. The panda relies heavily upon bamboo and vegetation in its diet, explaining the low activity levels of the species.
The obverse of 2019 30 Gram Chinese Gold Panda Coins includes the image of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests.
